It is a statutory requirement for a BVI Private Trust Company ("PTC") to have a registered agent and a registered office in the BVI, and those Regulations require that the PTC's registered agent is at all times the holder of a Class I trust licence issued under the Banks and Trust Companies Act, 1990.
